Post Seven: My Summer Holidays!

Hey! I have a Christmas surprise to you: a new post on my blog!

I’m on vacation and I’m thinking what I’m going to do this time. Every year, with my family, we go to “El Quisco”.  I like this place because all my relatives also go (my cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents) and all together enjoy an afternoon in the beach. In the evenings we usually go out to the amusement parks: "Mampato" or sometimes we go to see the sea and the boats at night. I feel these activities are family traditions.

I have a good time on the beach, but I also would like to know other parts of Chile or other countries. Chile has many beautiful places: in northern Chile and in southern Chile. I would like to go to Pucón or Licanrray. I went to Pucón a few years ago, but I was very little time. I would like to know Iquique, Arica or Antofagasta. People say that the sea water of northern Chile is very warm. I wish can swim in those beaches because I hate cold water. In addition, I would like to know Argentina, because I have many friends in that country and it is a place that we are close to and I have always had affection.

Obviously, in my vacations  I will continue playing computergames!

1.  The past semester  was the first time that I had to do denistry things.  I was nervous but mainly I was excited.
   
   

2. Christmas is coming and I’m waiting for this. This Christmas I decided  to myself enjoy more with my family 

3.-I have a friend who has a big pool. And, this vacation, I’m goingo to swim in her pool. I already told  to her.

Post ten: English Language Challenges

Dear readers:

Is this my last english post? Probably yes, but this post wouldn’t be the last time that I should write in english. My first english class was in 2005 when I was eleven years old. Many people say that the  earlier you learn english, doing it is easier. But I started late :c. I remember that once I went to my brother room and I asked him how I should pronounce the letters in english and he said to my: It depends on the Word you want to say, there aren´t any rules :c, for example: in spanish you always pronuncied the letter “a” of the same way but in english you pronuncied the letter ”a” of different forms. In  this moment i felt sad because i really wanted to learn english but nobody could teach english to me. In the school, the people knew english and rules of english, for this reason, the teachers never taught me how to pronounce in english. But i have a cousin who knows a lot english and I asked my questions to him. At the university, I thought that teachers would be harder and they would punish to you If you dont know english. But this is different. I had good teachers and I am grateful for this.

I think that we dont have enough hours english class If I want to learn english in a good way, but when you are in the university, many extra-academic activities are considered problems. But i WOUld like to learn english and dominate it. Sometimes I Heard english streaming, I read english news and yesterday I found english comics to read!.

I should continue practicing and in the future I will be able to speak english in a better way.

Post Nine

Hello person who must read my blog for comment it:

Probabily, you know about what I’m going to write because you too must write about this theme. Yes, I’m goin to write about what us put together: the university, specifically dentistry.
I didnt know the  old curriculum map, but I really like the new curriculum map because It has a more humanistic vision and you start to make  odontology work or odontology activity earliest than before. Now, You don’t should stay in seven semester for know If really you like the denistry, in the second or third semester you already know about what you will do in you future profession. 

I have a friend who study medicine and sometimes we speak about the difficulty of our degree. He and me think that the two degree are hard, medicine has more classroom class while in dentistry you should practice more to improve your  fine motor skills. I really don´t know if the requirement is sufficient or excessive. Sometimes, I came back late to my home, I felt tired and I only could think about what I should study the next day. I hate it. I like dentistry but I have never liked to feel that I can do nothing except my obligations. To improve this, you should plan your week and, honestly, I am not good doing it jajaja.

I like the ideals that the university promotes and I love teachers who are committed to teaching you in a good way, for example: Dr. Osorio and my english teacher  <3 jajajaja

Post eight

Movies or series you like: “LOST”.

My favourite series is “Lost”. I started to watch this series on TV, every Sunday at 22:00 hrs. But, the channel 13 didn´t continue the trasmitions. Lost has 6 season, I only saw the first and second season in 2008. I remember when Lost finished and all the people were excited, someone felt sad and even other were crying. In 2012, I promised myself to see all seasons in vacation and I accomplished it.

I enjoyed each episode of Lost. I could stay watching Lost in my computer for many hours, seven o eight hours non-stop. I loved this series and my favourite characters were Jack, Kate and Hugo “Hurley”. I could not choose one season and say: It’s my favorite season. Each season had a special mysticism.

Maybe, you don’t know “Lost” and I’m writting as if you do.  Lost is a series about a group of people who crashed  on airplane and they fell on island. They tried to go out of island but after some days, They realized that they weren’t alone. In the Island, there are more people, the “others”.  There are many surprises, deaths, kidnapping, fight, even travel in the time.

Also, I like the music of Lost, It’s sad music but when I was emotional, I usually listened to it and I thought about the life and death. When I finished watching Lost, I felt as when I finished a series that i like: empty and thinking:  how will I spend my time?. But I felt happy because I really loved the final message of this series.

Post Six

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

Today, I remembered when I was in my teen years and I usually played footbal with my classmates and one girl. Her name was Camila. Camila was the only girl who played with us. We were cruel and we told her: ‘you are a boy because you do boy things’. Obviously she got angry and fought us, and this was a reason more to mock her. Now, I think: At that time do we learn the separation of roles? I mean, what time do we learn, this activity is for a boy and this activity is for a girl?.

We can see it since the moment who a baby is born. If baby is a girl, her room and clothes are pink, If baby is a boy, his room and clothes are blue. The problem isn’t if clothes are pink o blue. The problem is that since we are babies, the people tell us how we must be, how we must dress, how we must think. The girls are delicate, the boys are strong. You must not make female activities if you are a boy and the same, if you’re a girl mustn’t make male activities.

Male sexism has stages, some visible and some invisible. I think we can change this problem. We can do it.

Post Five:

Postgraduate studies

Hi guys!

As you should know, I’m studying  Odontology at the  University of Chile. In the university, people usually talk about what they’re going to make after ending their major, many prefer to start to work, others prefer to take a rest and others choose to continue studying. Currently, I don’t know what I’m going to do in the future, but probably I’m going to choose to make a postgraduate study, Which one? I’m not sure yet. I’d like to speacialize on Pediatric Dentistry, because I love children’s world. Also,  childhood  is a very important stage for human development, and I‘d like support children in this process. But, At least in dentistry, working with children is harder because they hate going to dentists.  However this problem can be another reason for me to choose speacializing  on Pediatric Dentistry because I’d like change the fear to denistry, although It’s hard.

Also, I’d Like to speacialize on Oral Rehabilitation. It’s very interesting to me, because I think that work there is a hard challenge. Besides, the people who you help are grateful with you because return their smile is a very  significant change  for people who receive it.

But, Why do you choose only one postgraduate? Obviosly, doing them can be hard, but If you really want to make two o more postgraduate studies, you can do them!
